Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key factors that influence the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in revamping supply chain systems in the aqua field. The aquaculture industry is facing several challenges, including increased demand for seafood, rising costs, and environmental concerns. AI technologies have the potential to address these challenges by optimizing supply chain systems, improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing sustainability. However, there are several barriers to adoption that need to be addressed, including the lack of technical expertise, high costs associated with implementation and maintenance, and cultural resistance to change. To address these barriers, policymakers and industry stakeholders should focus on developing cost-effective solutions, promoting awareness of AI technologies, and creating a culture of innovation and change. This study provides insights into the potential benefits of AI technologies in supply chain systems in the aqua field and outlines the key challenges that need to be addressed to facilitate adoption. The findings of this study are based on a review of existing literature on AI and supply chain management in the aquaculture industry.
