Abstract

This research makes use of a triangular fuzzy exponential ( T.F.E.)  lifetime distribution with one and two parameters in order to assess the level of fuzziness associated with the reliability of specific systems. It is expected that the lifetime parameters, which are included in this distribution, will be fuzzy (F.) parameters due to the uncertainty and imprecision of the data. We uses two cases for the same model to comparing the results. Many expressions for fuzzy reliability(F.R.), fuzzy mean time to failure (F.M.T.T.F.), fuzzy hazard function (F.H.F.), and associated ∝-cuts have been addressed when systems follow a T.F.E lifetime distribution.  Theorems related to our study is presented and a numerical example is provided throughout this section in order to further elucidate the method for determining the F.R. characteristics of k-out-of-n systems.
