Abstract

The present research work is based on pasture yield characteristics evaluated in the Bucay area, the jurisdiction of the Guayas province. This research is based on evaluating the doses of gibberellins and cytokinins, increasing the physiological processes and, therefore, the yields of Janeiro grass, impacting the yield and forage production within the study area. The trial was carried out using a randomized complete block design with factorial arrangement 22, composed of four treatments and five replications. The treatments used were T1 (a1b1): Cytokinins (400 kg/ha) + Gibberellins (10 g/ha), T2 (a1b2): Cytokinins (400 kg/ha) + Gibberellins (0 g/ha), T3 (a2b1): Cytokinins (0 kg/ha) + Gibberellins (10 g/ha), T4 (a2b2): Cytokinins (0 kg/ha) + Gibberellins (0 g/ha). According to the yields obtained, T1 obtained the best yields with 22180.00 kg/ha; in the plant height variable, the best result was obtained by treatment T1 (a1b1) with 68.20 cm. The maximum dry matter weight was obtained by treatment T1 (a1b1) with 1893.49 kg/ha. This information recommends the use of cytokinins in the pasture crop.
