Conflicts and Their Management With in an Organization- An Examination from a Theoretical Perspective

Abstract
This paper explores conflict and its management within organizational settings, employing a theoretical framework informed by existing literature. Both functional and dysfunctional conflicts are analyzed, alongside five styles or methods of conflict resolution. The research emphasizes the importance of situational context in determining the most appropriate conflict management style. It concludes that conflict is an unavoidable aspect of organizational life and suggests that fostering awareness among employees to accept and appreciate differences in perceptions and behaviors can contribute to nurturing positive relationships among individuals, groups, and the organization, thereby facilitating the achievement of goals and objectives
