Abstract

High levels of women police happiness in the workplace help to avoid women police burnout and keep women police motivated to excel in their roles. Allowing women police to take responsibility for their own workspace and apply small individualized touches embed a sense of belonging and support job satisfaction. Strategic police stations initiatives aimed at improving workplace and professional development need to have top-level support, therefore top management need to have motivation, commitment, knowledge, and ability to create and enhance the learning atmosphere in the police stations. Top management need to understand and identify what factors or elements contribute to the effectiveness of police stations learning activities and what factors hinder the learning processes among the women police. Thus, police stations should follow a specific strategy to maintain the satisfaction and performance of women police in order to achieve their objectives in the long run. Happier women police make for a more productive, innovative and engaged workplace. By even implanting small changes to improve women police satisfaction, police stations will benefit from significant long-term rewards.
