Abstract

Kabir's era was synonymous with various religious hypocrisies and human exploitation. The mutual bitterness between sects was intense, there was an empire of misogyny, the society was completely corrupted by superstition, there was unrest in the field of religion in that era. When a feeling of love arises in his heart only then a person suffering from injustice could attain peace. The Vedas, Shastras, Quran, Puranas etc. religious scriptures have also faded in front of the principle of love that Kabir had established. Kabir effectively attacked all those things which promote class and class discrimination and hinder human welfare and social development whether it is related to things or society.

The main reason for this type of class discrimination and caste discrimination was then Muslim invasion, which had a deep impact on the condition of the country. Casteism and sectarianism existed in both Hindus and Muslims. Kabir ended the darkness of ignorance by lighting the lamp of knowledge. That part of Kabir literature is most important in which he has kindled the flame of his revolution against social injustice and discrimination.

Kabir was one of those great men who changed the era. He changed the flow of the era, created a revolution in the society and by leading it took the society to the top. Kabir had all the qualities which are essential to have in great men, his loyalty, vision, religion, meditation went towards the anomalies prevailing in the society and turned towards the introduction of truth elements.

By imbibing the relativistic principles of all the religions of his time, Kabir fiercely attacked the beliefs opposite to human sensibility. Kabir, a saintly poet and self-absorbed soul, raised the voice of rebellion against the anomalies of the time, whose echo is naturally present in his literature.
