Abstract

The study experiment was carried out in an orchard affiliated with the densely planted date palm in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate/Ministry of Agriculture located in the desert area northwest of the governorate during the growing season (2022 AD) to study the efficiency of using various sources of organic fertilizers and spraying with salicylic acid on some characteristics of vegetative growth, fruiting, and yield of the date palm Phoenix dactylifera L. Al-Khalas variety irrigated with saline well water . The experiment included a study of two factors: the first factor, four sources of organic fertilizers, each in two levels (spent mushroom substrate (SMS)1.5 and 3 kg tree-1;compust spent mushroom substrate (CSMS )1 and 2 kg tree-1; Vermicompost (V)200 and 300 g tree-1; and Chicken manure (CM)1.5 and 3 kg tree-1); and the non-additive treatment.
