However, the field faces several challenges that hinder its full potential. This essay explores the current issues and challenges in health informatics at the master level. It discusses the complexities of data management, interoperability issues, privacy concerns, cybersecurity threats, and the need for skilled professionals in the field. The essay also provides insights into how these challenges can be addressed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of health informatics in the healthcare sector.
