Abstract

Competence in intensive and critical care nursing is essential for providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition. This literature review examines the current research on competence in intensive and critical care nursing. The review includes an analysis of different aspects of competence, such as knowledge, skills, and attitudes, as well as the methodologies used in assessing competence. The results of the review suggest that competence in intensive and critical care nursing is a multifaceted concept that requires a combination of clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and emotional intelligence.
