Abstract

Diversity of Edible Mollusca was studied at different division of North Eastern India. At each division, diversity and number of species were collected from road side selling out lets and local wet markets. Basically, the study of edible mollusca is important for understanding biodiversity and cultural significance. Mollusca are a delicacy in many parts of the world and are used to create unique, flavorful dishes. However, there are concerns about sustainability and overfishing. By studying diversity and distribution, we can manage resources in a sustainable way that benefits local communities. Incorporating more mollusca into our diets can provide health benefits and support the health of our oceans. The many different species of mollusks offer a wide range of culinary option.
