Parameters like pH and temperature were measured on site and the remaining parameters like BOD, Chloride, Nitrate, Sulphate, Do, etc., were analyzed in the laboratory by following standard methods. This river water is contaminated with industrial effluents and anthropogenic activities like bathing, washing clothes, utensils, and vehicles etc., Thus, there is a need of monitoring the water quality of the river.
