Re-engineering of academic library services-In the age of 21st century

Abstract

We stand in the decade of 21^st century where information floating very fast and rapidly. To manage all library work like- to manage the information literacy and fulfilled the expectation of the users library needed re-engineering. In the other sense re engineering reduce the gap between the user expectation and the services provided by the library. It is the time of re thinking and adopted the new technology for the benefited of the students, teacher, academician, research scholar etc. Effective library service fulfills the multidimensional needs of the citizen. Re-engineering reduce the library managerial work and make easy for users to collect information and increase knowledge in respective areas.
