Abstract
A study of financial inclusion and women empowerment programs in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, involves exploring the various financial programs available for women in the region and assessing their impact on female empowerment. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of microfinance initiatives, government-sponsored schemes, and non-government organizations' programs. The study also examines women's challenges in obtaining these financial services and the factors contributing to their successful utilization. This research aims to add to the ongoing discussion regarding the effects of programs focused on financial inclusion and women's empowerment in India. Its objective is to offer meaningful observations regarding the current state of financial inclusion and women's empowerment in Thanjavur and to pinpoint strategies for enhancing women's availability of financial services and products in the region.
