Abstract

The article discusses the literature data of the last decade devoted to aspects of surgical tactics in intraoperative injuries of the bile ducts. It was noted that the main reasons for failures in the treatment of bile duct injuries are the untimely diagnosis and the performance of reconstructive operations by surgeons who are inadequate in scope and do not have proper experience in biliary surgery. There is no unity in the choice of the method of operation for injuries of the bile ducts diagnosed intraoperatively or in the immediate postoperative period.
