Emotional creativity and its relationship to psychological stress among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate

Abstract

The current research aimed to build and apply a measure of emotional innovation among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate. In addition, to identify the degree of emotional innovation among taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate. In addition, to identify the relationship between emotional innovation and psychological stress among taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate. The researchers used the descriptive method using the survey and correlation method. The main research sample consisted of (180) Taekwondo players for some sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate. The two scales were applied to a sample of (72) Taekwondo players from some sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate. In processing the data statistically, the percentage was used. Arithmetic mean. Standard deviation. The simple correlation coefficient (Pearson). Cronbach's alpha equation. T test. One-way analysis of variance. Least significant difference test L.S.D. and the hypothetical mean. The researchers concluded that taekwondo players in Nineveh governorate have low levels on the emotional innovation scale. Taekwondo players in Nineveh governorate have high negative levels according to the psychological stress scale. There is a statistically significant relationship between emotional creativity and its dimensions and the level of psychological stress among Taekwondo players in Nineveh Governorate.
