Forest Fire Management and Territorial Governance
Main Article Content
Abstract
This systematic review article analyzes Wildfire Risk Management and Territorial Governance, and its main objective is to analyze the interaction between both terms to identify what is known about the topic, the existence of previous studies and what unknown aspects exist to date in this sense, the method used consists of an adaptation to the model proposed by MartÃnez et al. (2019) based on the model proposed by Kitchenham et al. (2009) which specifies a search protocol model with 3 phases that are planning, execution and results. Likewise, bibliographic material was reviewed in databases such as SCOPUS, EBSCO and SCIELO. For this purpose, a search of keywords was carried out, allowing the selection of the best publications according to the relevance of the topic and the quality of information, finally resulting in the selection of 16 articles, which shows a small number of articles in which both terms interact directly, so it is concluded that there is little information and research on the interaction of both terms where SCOPUS has the largest number of articles selected by criteria of relevance, subject matter and quality. Likewise, it can be concluded that governance is inherent to forest fire management since all studies conclude that the most common cause is of anthropogenic origin, hence the importance of the participation of all stakeholders, especially communities, in the decision-making process regarding the solution to forest fires.
